Scholarships

Investing in your success

As a College of Agriculture and Life Sciences student, you have access to well over $4.5 million in scholarships offered through more than 700 individual scholarship portfolios. Each of these programs represents the college, individual donors, corporations and friends of the college making an investment in your success.

While many awards are intended to reward academic performance, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is proud that our scholarship opportunities reflect the student experiences you value. In addition to academics, scholarships support activities like study abroad, leadership in student organizations, service to the college, undergraduate research and professional development opportunities. And when things don’t go according to plan, there are resources available that help eliminate financial barriers.

Emergency scholarships

Any College of Agriculture and Life Sciences student who is experiencing a financial emergency, or who has a financial barrier to continuing or completing their studies at Iowa State University, should complete the Cyclone Success Assistance application located in OneApp and/or contact CALS student services specialist Dariana Glasco-Boyd, darianag@iastate.edu, for assistance. Tell us about you.

Regardless of the type of support you are looking for, the first step is always to tell us more about yourself. You do this through the OneApp scholarship application. You are more than just a GPA to us – the best way for us to learn more about you is for you to tell us through the application process.
